I was caught by surprise by a Z train. My attention was focused on UP workers blasting snow out of switches and the Pig's Eye crossing with a track machine with the C&NW hearld still on it.

At any rate, behind BNSF 7704, I did the cliched "blink to make sure I was seeing what I thought I was seeing." Sure enough, BNSF 8183.

The SD60M series is being renumbered 8100 to take the place of the SD40-2s which have gone to FURX. I am at work, so I cannot upload the photo.
