Not sure where to post this: BNSF or CP/Soo topics

I was at Pig's Eye today and took a peek at the diesel shop tracks. In middle of 5 to 6 locomotives on either side, is BNSF 5851. A nice and shiny wedgie unit.

I am sure those of you in the area could see it Sunday.

Judging by the number, is this an AC44000?

Yep, should be the new ES44ACs (I may have stated 44-9s)

Aaron, Were you parked along Warner Road with your 4 ways on? I passed some sort of blue car about 1500hrs. There was a CP car rack train with the 2nd engine in line a new ES44AC leaving at about that time.

I saw a post on RailroadForums.com that this engine was brought up to Calgary to showcase the new control stand that GE has. I guess CP's new ES44AC's still have the desktop controls.
