I am realy getting into this roster stuff. :P I just checked all my numbers to the link provided by XRAYGUY, made a few corrections to my list...have a few questions now for all you.

BNSF #5743 I have a pic. in the gallery. it sure looks like a Dash 9 in H2 paint, but the list says that it is a pre-prodution GEVO, and thats its an ES44AC, so wouldn't it be in swoosh paint??? well did some checking found a pic on RP.net. http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=86611 it shows an AC4400CW :?

also BNSF #9093 I have seen it, an SD60M. but they dont list it, anyone else seen it???? or have a pic.

According to the roster at the diesel shop BNSF 5718-5747 are all pre-production ES44AC GEVO's. 5748-5837 are ES44AC Gevos' with the new logo. I will do some digging to gleen info as to why the pre production units did not get the new logo.

Thats where I got my info from too.

but the linked pic shows its an AC4400CW..... they must have just labeled them as that even though they are the new GEVO units. :?

yea look into the paint thing please. I think I might email the people on Diesel shop to see what they say also.

What it boils down to is timing. The first three pre production GEVO's where delivered to the BNSF in July of 2003, with the remaining 27 arriving in 04 and 05. This order was placed and filled well before the unvailing of the new logo in January of 2005.

could have been. I gave up and deleted it off the list. you all convinced me I must have read it wrong. :P after looking at some of the provided roster links I was convinced it didnt exist.


Now does anyone know how many three window SD60M's are out there??? I have seen one. 9210, but 9202 I think was a two window :? its so hard to look, write, and look some more when they are winging by at 50mph.

BNSF 9200-9249 have 3 windows on the cab. BNSF 9250-9299 have 2.
