Hello group, I was down at University Jct yesterday, and sitting on the coal main was a new switch seen here

Most of the day MoW crews were there working on it and I'm guessing it is going in soon. Is it an improvement to the current switch or just a simple replacement?

Coal Main? Do you mean the East Runner?

The East runner is the next track over in the picture. I had never hear of the coal runner before. I learn something new every day!

That is indead the coal main, coal loads were staged on it before they were run into the power plant near by before it switched to natural gas.

The track to the immediate left of the switch in M4. the Runner starts under University Ave and is only within NTW yard.
