Was out playing a round of disc golf and saw what appeared to be a Loram ditcher roll north on the MNS line north of Rockford Rd. I have a suspicion that they might be parking it next to the New Hope ice arena since I only heard it cross 49th and not Douglas Drive or West Broadway. Should have cruised by there on the way home... Just a head's up if anyone is interested, not sure how long or where exactly they are going to be working. |

How much more traffic will the line be getting, any more traffic to the south in St. Louis Park (TCW) and Edina? |

Could be a number of run through trains a day, or it could be nothing. Don't expect anything to happen soon, it will be a few years at the earliest. |

A better bet for increased traffic would be the TCW/CP ex-MILW. I can't say what the future holds right now, but more information will be printed sometime around the end of the month. I'm fortunate that I have access to a lot of inside information, but along with that comes responsibility and if management doesn't want to make the information public, I have to respect their wishes. I must do that if I hope to keep the information flowing even if it does make some railfans unhappy. EDIT: lattasnipe9, that second paragraph wasn't directed at you. A few individuals in the past have become upset when I've withheld information, but they are just refusing the believe the truth. |
