 Post subject: Lakeville to Savage line

I notice a rail line from Lakeville to Savage today. Being new to the area, I was wondering what the backround was on it. The best I could tell following as close as I could, It loks intact.Jim

I believe what you have there is the Dan Patch line. You can google it to see its history and disposition.

I know at one point some Government body wanted to restore it for commuter use, but the residents in the area got all NIMBY and now its strictly historical, aka growing weeds.
