Location: Formerly M.P. 97 on The BNSF Hinckley sub.
Supposedly the Febuary 2010 Issue of Trains Mag. says the Heritage units are due for a repaint and renumber after 10 years OR at the first major overhaul. Can anyone who gets the mag copy the article for those less fortunate to read?

The railroad is indeed planning on renumbering and repainting the units some time in the future. The article explained how the coverings are applied in a layered fashion, not painted or one single sheet stuck on like bus advertising. The only unit not getting redone, I believe, is 4141, the Bush Sr. unit, it is a storage facility.
